Maryon Ide-Gomez, President I came to the USA in 1964 from England where I was a Policewoman. My husband and I and three sons came to Phoenix in 1972. My husband was stationed at Luke Air Force base I became a Realtor in 1984 & a broker in 2003 . I believe in continued education and getting involved. I attended all the Women’s Council of REALTORS® conferences in 2008 and realized what a great organization WCR is. The networking and education are invaluable. My husband and I are both REALTORS® with Real Living Property for you. Previously, I was a lender for about 5 years. I started with WCR over 8 years ago. I have been very active in WCR. I have been the Chair of the Fun and Fundraising Committee and have helped out with numerous events and now am the VP of Membership for 2008-2010. At the WCR State level, I was the co-chair for the Karen Franz Scholarship program and for 2009 I am the Team Leader for the Karen Franz Scholarship program. In 2006, I was REALTOR® Member of the Year for our NW Valley Chapter of WCR. WCR locally and from the state level have increased my leadership skills and communication skills. Following a short stint with a local brokerage, Peggy returned to Suburban Mortgage this year. Suburban and Interlink Mortgage merged in 2007 and she spent 20+ years as part to the Interlink team. Suburban is one of the largest privately owned mortgage companies in Arizona, locally owned and operated in the Valley for 20 years. Although active in the real estate community throughout her career, she counts finding the Women’s Council of REALTORS® in 2006 one of her greatest affiliations. She stated, “The Northwest Valley WCR is an excellent resource for education, networking and friendship.
